In reply to <a href="https://www.locurio.com/the-end-of-escape-rooms/#comment-12650">Pete</a>.

Congrats on building your 4th room! Dropping a figure from the ceiling, especially when you don't have space above, is a unique and perplexing challenge for sure. Depending on your ceiling height, you could build a shallow false ceiling, or barring that, a large screen or Pepper's Ghost effect might work! Please don't hesitate to email us (info@locurio.com) if you'd like to chat further. Best of luck and we hope to visit your location someday!

I am building my 4th room currently and am struggling with how to end it. The room is about a man who has always had a strong desire to travel, but is terrified to leave is home. I would like to make him drop out of the ceiling, but don't have the room above the ceiling to make that work. I would love a suggestion! Thanks!

I think your idea of limiting the risk of players damaging the escape room in their 'quest' by providing them with no incentive for tearing the room apart in the first place. My friends and I especially love escape rooms and puzzle rooms. We used to go hunt for escape rooms to play once every 2 weeks before the Covid 19 pandemic. I would imagine that once the restrictions are lifted, the gang will look forward to our new 'quest' soon.
